Perspectives on the Care and Support of Older People: A SCWRU and Making Research Count Seminar Series

These CPD certified seminars explore aspects of working with older people. Speakers engaged in current research and policy provide messages with a practice focus, with lots of time for discussion and debate. The series is chaired by John Woolham, Senior Research Fellow at SCWRU.

 

May 9 2017:

A housing AGEnda: more choice, greater voice for older people – Jeremy Porteus, Founder and Director, Housing LIN (Learning and Improvement Network)

 

June 14 2017:

The impact of personal budgets and Direct Payments on unpaid carers of older people – John Woolham, Senior Research Fellow, SCWRU

 

 

Seminars will be held in the Cabinet Room, first floor, Virginia Woolf Building, King’s College London, 22 Kingsway London WC2B 6LE (near Holborn Station)

All seminars will take place 2pm – 4pm with tea/coffee & registration from 1.45pm.
