LARIA members are invited to respond to a ‘call for input’ informing the Academy of Medical Sciences’ working group project entitled ‘Health of the public in 2040.’
The project aims to help secure future wellbeing by better understanding the factors which will affect the population’s health by 2040, and how they might be influenced to deliver the outcomes we desire. In particular, it aims to identify the research evidence needed to address the uncertainties associated with these influencing factors, as well as the broader requirements for supporting, delivering and realising the value of this research.
This ‘call for input’ represents an important stage in the project: it is an opportunity for the working group to hear your views and aspirations regarding the future health of the UK population. Crucially, the working group will draw on these submissions to begin developing practical recommendations for the future.
Details of the ‘call for input’ can found at the link below. We hope you are able to contribute to this exciting project, and look forward to reading your response.
Please feel free to circulate this call to colleagues or any additional parties who may wish to respond.
