Qa Research was commissioned to undertake an evaluation of the ‘Roots of Empathy’ programme, which places babies in classrooms to enhance emotional literacy. Results from the evaluation exercise found improvements in empathy and prosocial behaviour and decrease in aggressiveness among the school children participating in the programme.
