Wise Council: Insights from the Cutting Edge of Data-Driven Local Government

A LGA-funded report on making better use of data has now been published.

It is the conclusion of an initiative with the LGA, Nesta and many local authorities who have worked together to identify and record examples of good practice in managing and analysing local information better – with particular focus on where organisations can make better use of their data records through linking, sharing and re-use.

Included is a helpful ‘data maturity model’, to help you think about how well your own authority is making use of data.
